A LESSON TO LEARN

I have to say, I am pretty much comfortable with the person I am. I know I am not the sweetest girl in the whole world and some people might think I am a bitch because I hate to sugar coat stuff but overall, I am happy the way I am except:

My lack of patience and the tendency to see the negative prior to the positive stuff.

I am totally aware of that and BELIEVE ME; I have to make a HUGE effort on those two. Anyway, putting my inpatient-explosive-bitching-grumpy-whinny personality aside, I would like to concentrate on my negative “quality”.

I could have EVERYTHING perfect but if one tiny little detail is not right OMG I feel that the world is going to fall apart. Not saying that I am ALWAYS like that, sometimes I know I can surprise you by reacting a different way but 80% of the time (if not 95%) I tend to see the glass half empty instead of half full.

Now you wonder: “Why in the world I would care that she is a negative bitch?” well… this morning, I was reading an article about a girl, about my age, who is a plane crash survivor… I am AMAZED with her story!

I believe she is in her late 20s, mother of four who used to blog prior to the accident. She always found ways to write about life events with a tint of humor. I read her posts prior and after the accident and… even though, I am sure her life changed A LOT, the optimism and energy in her words did not change. Even if she is writing about how much in pain she was, you can feel the spark of hope in her writings.

Please take some time to visit her blog, I am sure she will enlighten your day with her own experiences, her beautiful pictures and the journey she is going through on a daily basis.

Here is NieNie: http://nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/

I hope I can learn from her.
